When you open the help chat from your Dashboard, you’re talking first with GenMeds’ AI assistant. It answers questions about your account, the GenMeds Membership and how the process works, using GenMeds’ help content, and it identifies itself as an AI assistant.
What it can’t help with
The AI assistant can’t give medical advice. It won’t interpret symptoms or side effects, suggest a dose, or say whether a medication is right for you. It also can’t see your intake form, prescription, refill check-in or order status.
Treatment questions go to your clinician: message your clinician through the chat on your Dashboard and reply to the most recent message about your prescription. If your symptoms are severe or sudden, call 911.
How to reach a person
Ask for a person at any time and the conversation goes to the Support team, which works Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Eastern, and replies within 1 business day.
What to share in the help chat
Keep health details, such as symptoms, medications and doses, weight or lab results, out of the help chat; share those with your clinician from your Dashboard.
