What will the cholesterol refill check-in ask for?

Your cholesterol refill check-in asks for the information the clinician needs to see how your treatment is going and decide whether to continue or change it. Complete it from your Dashboard and answer in the form, not by messaging the Support team.

What you’ll be asked

This may include:

  • Your current cholesterol medication or medications

  • How long you’ve been taking your current medication or dose

  • Whether you’ve missed any doses

  • Whether you’ve had any side effects since your last dose, such as injection-site reactions, flu-like symptoms, or allergic reactions

  • Whether you’ve started any new medications

  • Whether you’ve had any new diagnoses or changes in your medical history

  • Whether your pregnancy status has changed, if relevant

  • Whether you want to continue treatment or discuss a change

Labs

You may also need labs so the clinician can see how your LDL cholesterol is responding. If so, you’ll be told before your refill check-in is due, and the clinician will tell you what’s needed and how to share it. Don’t send results to the Support team by chat or email.

When to complete it

GenMeds emails you and sends an in-app message when it’s due. The clinician reviews it before writing your next prescription, typically within 1–2 business days, so completing it then helps avoid a gap.

Note: If you’re having side effects now, don’t wait for your refill check-in. Message your clinician through the chat on your Dashboard by replying to the most recent message about your prescription.

If you can’t find your refill check-in, message the Support team from your Dashboard.
