When should I complete my refill check-in to avoid a gap?

Complete your refill check-in as soon as you’re told it’s due. GenMeds emails you and sends an in-app message about two weeks before your current supply runs out, and you complete the check-in from your Dashboard.

Why the timing matters

The clinician reviews each refill check-in before writing your next prescription, typically within 1–2 business days. Completing it as soon as it’s due leaves time for that review and for the pharmacy to fill the prescription, which lowers the chance of a gap between doses.

If you’re on cholesterol management treatment and the clinician needs labs before your refill, you’ll be told before your refill check-in is due.

If you haven’t been asked to complete one

If you’re within two weeks of running out and haven’t been asked to complete a refill check-in, message the Support team from your Dashboard. If a delay means a gap of 14 days or more between doses, or it disrupts your treatment, also message your clinician through the chat on your Dashboard by replying to the most recent message about your prescription.
