Who do I contact for what: the Support team, the pharmacy or my clinician?

Your clinician handles your treatment, your pharmacy handles your medication order, Photon moves a prescription to a different pharmacy, and the GenMeds Support team handles your account, the GenMeds Membership and anything you’re not sure about.

Your clinician: your treatment

Message your clinician through the chat on your Dashboard; reply to the most recent message about your prescription. Your clinician handles:

  • side effects

  • missed doses, including a gap of 14 days or more

  • dose changes or switching medication

  • lost medication that may need a new prescription

  • whether a medication is right for you

Your pharmacy: your medication order

Your prescription goes straight to the pharmacy that fills your medication: NovoCare Pharmacy for Wegovy (1-888-809-3942, Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm Eastern), LillyDirect for Zepbound and Foundayo (1-844-559-3471), or Amazon Pharmacy for Repatha (contact details in its first message to you). The pharmacy handles:

  • setting up your account and paying for your medication

  • shipping, tracking and delivery updates

  • pickup

  • damaged or missing shipments

  • canceling an order or a medication refund

Photon: changing pharmacies

To have your prescription filled somewhere else, call or text Photon, our pharmacy coordinating partner, at (513) 866-3212, and they’ll move it for you. Photon only moves prescriptions: for the status of an order, contact your pharmacy.

The Support team: your account and the membership

Chat from the help button on your Dashboard, or email the Support team at support@genmeds.com. We reply within 1 business day; the Support team works Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Eastern. The Support team handles:

  • your account and login

  • billing for your membership

  • how the process works

  • when you can’t reach your pharmacy, or haven’t heard from it after 2 business days

  • anything you’re not sure who to ask

Note: The Support team can’t give medical advice; treatment questions and health details go to your clinician, not the help chat.

In an emergency

Call 911. If you may have taken too much medication, call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222. For thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The help chat isn’t monitored for emergencies.
