I was prescribed Repatha. How do I get it, and what should it cost?

Once the clinician writes your prescription, GenMeds emails you and sends an in-app message with your next step. Your Repatha prescription goes straight to Amazon Pharmacy, so you don’t choose a pharmacy and you can’t take the prescription to a pharmacy yourself. You pay the pharmacy directly for your medication; the GenMeds Membership fee doesn’t include it.

What happens next

Within about 2 business days (weekends don’t count), Amazon Pharmacy reaches out to set up your account and payment. Its contact details are in that first message. Amazon Pharmacy sets the timing, tells you your delivery options, and sends your shipping and tracking updates.

What it costs

The pharmacy sets the price, which varies by dose and pharmacy, so GenMeds doesn’t quote medication prices. Ask Amazon Pharmacy to confirm the price before you pay and whether any savings program or insurance applies to you.

If the quote is much higher than you expected, ask the pharmacy what price basis it used. To have your prescription filled somewhere else, call or text Photon, our pharmacy coordinating partner, at (513) 866-3212, and they’ll move it for you.

Who to contact

  • Payment, price, shipping, tracking or delivery: Amazon Pharmacy, using the contact details in its message to you.

  • If you haven’t heard from Amazon Pharmacy after 2 business days, or you can’t reach it: message the Support team from your Dashboard.
