Your prescription goes straight to the pharmacy that fills your medication, so you don’t choose a pharmacy and you can’t take the prescription to a pharmacy yourself. Within about 2 business days (weekends don’t count), the pharmacy contacts you to set up your account and payment. Your medication ships to your home unless you set up pickup.
Wegovy (pen or pill): NovoCare Pharmacy, Novo Nordisk’s pharmacy service. NovoCare reaches out to set up payment and shipping. For your first order, you sign a consent form and create a NovoCare account; after that, refills run through NovoCare. Your medication ships to your home.
Zepbound and Foundayo: LillyDirect, Lilly’s pharmacy service. LillyDirect reaches out to set up payment and ships your medication to your home. If you’d rather pick it up at a participating Walmart pharmacy, ask LillyDirect to set that up when they contact you.
Repatha: Amazon Pharmacy. Amazon Pharmacy reaches out to set up your account and payment; its contact details are in that first message.
You pay the pharmacy directly for your medication; the GenMeds Membership fee doesn’t include it.
Pickup instead of delivery
Zepbound: ask LillyDirect to set up pickup at a participating Walmart pharmacy when they contact you, or call LillyDirect Customer Care at 1-844-559-3471.
Wegovy: if you’d rather pick up Wegovy at a local pharmacy, call NovoCare Pharmacy at 1-833-949-5527 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern) to switch to pickup, or call or text Photon at (513) 866-3212 to move your prescription to the pharmacy you prefer. To get the cash-pay price at a local pharmacy, you need the Wegovy Savings Card: enroll before you pick up, and you pay at the counter with the card.
Repatha: Amazon Pharmacy tells you your delivery options when it contacts you.
Changing pharmacies later
To have your prescription filled somewhere else, call or text Photon, our pharmacy coordinating partner, at (513) 866-3212, and they’ll move it for you. Photon only moves prescriptions: for the status of an order, contact your pharmacy.
Before each new prescription, you complete a refill check-in. If your medication changes, your pharmacy may change too, because each medication is filled by its own pharmacy.
Who to contact
Anything about an order the pharmacy already has, such as payment, shipping, tracking or pickup: contact the pharmacy directly.
Changing pharmacies: call or text Photon at (513) 866-3212.
If you can’t reach your pharmacy, or you’re not sure who to ask: message the Support team from your Dashboard.
