Through the GenMeds Membership, you can get access to three brand-name weight loss medications: Wegovy, Zepbound and Foundayo. GenMeds doesn’t offer compounded medications.
Wegovy and Zepbound each come in two forms, and Foundayo is a tablet:
Wegovy: a pen or a pill
Zepbound: a KwikPen or a vial
Foundayo: a tablet
Who decides which medication is prescribed
The clinician decides whether weight loss treatment is appropriate for you after reviewing your intake form and, if it is, which medication and form to prescribe. You can share a treatment preference in your intake form. A prescription isn’t guaranteed.
Where your medication comes from
Your prescription goes straight to the pharmacy that fills your medication: NovoCare Pharmacy for Wegovy, or LillyDirect for Zepbound and Foundayo. You don’t choose a pharmacy. Medication isn’t included in the GenMeds Membership fee: you pay the pharmacy for it, and the price varies by medication, dose and pharmacy.
