What you pay has two separate parts, billed by two different parties: the GenMeds Membership fee, charged by GenMeds, and the cost of any medication the clinician prescribes, which you pay to the pharmacy.
The GenMeds Membership fee
The membership fee is $19 a month. You pay it when you submit your intake form, and then monthly. It covers your access to clinician review and support through GenMeds, and it doesn’t include medication.
One membership covers both weight loss and cholesterol management treatment. If you add the second treatment later, you complete its intake form and pay nothing extra. The fee doesn’t change with your dose.
Medication costs
You pay for medication directly with the pharmacy; GenMeds doesn’t set or charge medication prices. The price varies by medication, dose and pharmacy, so ask your pharmacy what your prescription will cost. If your medication or dose changes, the price may change too.
If a charge doesn’t look right
For a membership charge, message the Support team from your Dashboard. For a medication charge, contact your pharmacy.
