Cholesterol management treatment isn’t right for everyone. The clinician decides whether it may be appropriate for you from what you share in your intake form; the Support team doesn’t assess eligibility.
Reasons you may be ineligible
You may be ineligible if certain medical or safety criteria apply. These may include:
Your LDL cholesterol is already below the treatment threshold
You’re pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding
You’ve had a serious allergic reaction to certain cholesterol medications or their ingredients
You have certain severe liver or kidney conditions
You have certain types of familial hypercholesterolemia (an inherited form of high cholesterol) that need specialist care
You have certain recent, untreated, or higher-risk heart conditions
You take certain medications that may make some cholesterol treatments unsafe
You don’t meet other requirements, such as the age range for treatment
This isn’t a complete list. The clinician decides from everything you share in your intake form, and may also ask for recent cholesterol labs.
If you’re not sure whether something in your health history matters, include it in your intake form so the clinician can take it into account. Share health details in the form, not in the help chat or by email. For questions about how the process works, message the Support team from your Dashboard.
